First and foremost, I am a family man. Second, I am an experienced home inspector. My name is Joshua Crepps, and my beautiful wife Jessica and I have 11 exceptional children. A licensed home inspector in KY and in Indiana soon and I have been a home inspector since 2010. Additionally, I am a Certified Master Inspector. My knowledge as a home inspector is based on 20 years of experience in the residential, commercial, and industrial construction industries. Gratefully, I’ve inspected over 5000 homes, over the years. I use my experience and knowledge in each area to provide an accurate, thorough, and unbiased inspection of your potential home. I follow the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors standards of practice and the guidelines set forth by the state of Kentucky.

I reside on the KY Board of Home Inspectors I am a member of InterNACHI I am a member of CCPIA, the Certified Commercial Inspector Association. At one point I was a Building Performance Institute-certified Building Analyst and I was certified by the Kentucky Ready Mixed Concrete Association. I am a previous Safety Specialist for the world’s largest online retailer as well for instance.
When it comes to construction and home inspections, there’s no substitute for experience. With over three decades of hands-on experience working on construction sites, I can confidently say that knowledge comes from doing.
I grew up in the construction industry, working alongside my father and visiting job sites from a young age. By the time I reached high school, I had already spent more time on construction sites than many of my colleagues. Through these experiences, I gained practical knowledge and skills in every aspect of construction, from framing to roofing, masonry, site work, and beyond.
In addition to my vast practical experience, I also pursued formal education and licensing to become a certified home inspector. I passed the National Home Inspector exam on my first attempt and recently earned a near-perfect score on a licensing exam in Indiana. Through ongoing education and training courses, I continually seek to expand my knowledge and stay current with industry standards.
With a deep passion for my work and a commitment to excellence, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every inspection I conduct. I believe that my years of experience and dedication to ongoing learning set me apart as a highly qualified and reliable home inspector.
With unwavering dedication, I built our first home from the ground up in my spare time, working tirelessly after my day job and on weekends for several years. I put my heart and soul into that house, laying the footers and foundation walls myself and learning a great deal about building in the process. Although I had spent my entire life in the construction trade, building my own home taught me even more about the craft.
As our family grew, we needed more space, but not just any house would do. I was determined to design and build a home that was not only spacious but also efficient and tailored to our needs. I poured all of my creativity and passion into the project, drawing up the plans down to the very studs and even sleeping in my Prius for six months while we completed the build.
My wife deserves all the credit for her unwavering support during this challenging time. She worked full-time, cared for our children, and managed the household while I pursued my dream of building our perfect home. Despite the challenges we faced, we never lost sight of our goal, and we moved into our new home with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
